Crossing the Great Sea - Explosions and Sharks - Part 2

* * *

Atriox, you make your way back up the stairs and out into the fresh air again. The islands grow steadily closer and you can see the great smoke billowing out from their volcanic peaks.

Around you the sailors have fully unfurled the sails and you're clipping along at a decent pace. The other ships are following behind, close enough that you can see on their decks. You think you spot Tak and Vele on one, talking with some other lizard-like sailor much bigger than them, but quite a bit smaller than yourself.

You look around, finding Sheila in her quarters again pouring over her map. Her door is left open so she can hear from her men more easily. There's some interesting equipment along the far wall, vials and bottles and bubbling acids in tubes. It definitely doesn't fit her personality to use such things, or so you thought; they definitely stand out. As does a strange, glowing globe on one table, swirling with dark matter and pinpricks of light. You don't recall these here the last time you visited with her.

Atriox thinks about how he spoke to the captain a bit ago and frowns

He walks torwards her cabin and knocks on the open door

"Do you have a moment Sheila?"

Sheila looks up from her map with a surprised look. "Eh, yes, sir. Just checking the currents through the channel." She stands, putting her opisometer in her pocket. "What can I help you with?"

Atriox grunts

"Sir is not necessary. This is your ship after all. And I just wanted to apologize. How I acted earlier.....what I said. It was very rude of me. And I understand your love for your ship as well I'm sorry I mocked you for it captain."

Atriox gives a small bow of respect

The captain raises an eyebrow. After a moment she laughs. "No offense taken! None at all, ye have the right idea. People come before things, always..." There's a spark in her eye for a moment and she laughs again.

"You are a fine fella for your kind apology nonetheless." She tips her hat to you. "Nerves are gonna be a bit up and down wit' this weather we're gonna have through the isles but we'll make it through just fine and dandy, don't ya worry. Everyone aboard might want to wear a bandanna for the ash in the air, but other than that..." She shrugs, handing you one of hers. "Right as rain."

Atriox nods to the captain and takes what she offers

"Well then let's see how this goes shall we ?"

Atriox goes out on deck and watches as they approach the island

She smirks, following you out. Raising her hand she signals the men to push forward at full speed.

Within the hour you start to pass ships fleeing the islands--hundreds of vessels of all shapes and sizes making way for the safety of the sea. It seems strange for people to live there but as you get closer you can see why; it's gorgeous and lush, one of the most beautiful places you've ever seen. Likely because of the volcanic activity itself, no doubt.

Smoke continues to billow out, darkening the sky and covering the sun. It's starting to rain bits of ash and soot, and the bandannas are definitely coming in handy. Oxious manages to make it on deck with the help of Dalia, still rather green but too keen to miss out on a rare event like this.

Bareus leans against the railing of the ship, his stringed instrument in his hand as he bows a haunting melody. It doesn't have any words, but you can see him practically swimming in the music--it feels written especially for this place, perhaps something written another time they erupted.

Suddenly......

KABOOM!!!

A huge bloom of fire and rock and ash erupt from the nearest mountain.

KABOOM!!!!!

Another rockets up from the next, and the next.

KABOOM!!!!!!

Three times the chain of volcanoes explode, lighting up the cloudy sky like great pillars of light to the heavens. The force of the explosions and the insuring rocks hitting the water creates massive waves that rock the ship even worse than before. Several people fall down from it, including Oxious. Dahlia barely keeps her footing. You see Dorokor coming up to watch the show, keeping a hand hold on the railing around the stairs down to the hold.

Lava begins rushing down the mountains, rocks still raining in pebbles the size of your fist. There's a sudden shouting and crying from one side of the ship. You see a man shouting in a few different languages over the side, looking about and calling to other pirates aboard. He's got a red and white skull bandanna over his head, and a black eyepatch over his dark skin.

"Miz Sheila! Got a boat capsized on the starboard side! They're callin' for aid, what are your orders?"

She grits her teeth. "Slow the ships, haul em in Randal! We can drop em off with another of their own up ahead, maybe get some coin out of it." She adds the last part with a rye smile and you can't tell if she's kidding or not.

You go to the edge of the ship and can see the other boat floundering in the water, half sunk. It looks like it had too many passengers to hold, and the rough waves sent it under. Mostly tan-skinned humans and halflings are among those in the water, several clinging to the boat and trying not to drown. There are several elderly who are gasping from the shock of the cold water, and about a half dozen children trying not to go under. Another wave comes up and hits them all before Randal can get a rope ladder down.

Atriox growls in irritation and rolls his eyes. None the less he quickly takes of his heavy gear and his shirt before diving into the ocean to help whoever he can

As soon as you hit the water the cold salty spray shocks your body. And then it burns.

Coming up for air you shake the water out of your eyes. You can see Kora at the railing, surprise on her face. All around you are people crying out for help, and they start clambering against you trying to get up onto the ladder.

(Make a strength check to not get overwhelmed or dragged down yourself)

Your powerful tail helps propel your legs and arms to keep you afloat. Another splash issues behind you and you spot the bandanna of Randal behind you. He grabs a hold of the bottom rung of the ladder with one hand, yanking people over to it with his other.

You look where you saw a child a moment ago, but who is no longer there. Scanning the water you can't see them anywhere and realize they probably dropped under. (Make a acrobatics or athletics check to swim after them--if you wanna go under XD)

Atriox quickly dives under to look for the child

The water burns again as you drop below the surface, the rush of bubbles blocking your vision momentarily. In a few seconds it clears and you see the child, a human boy perhaps only six years old or so, sinking quickly.

With a powerful thrust of your tail you propel yourself down, grabbing his small wrist before heading back to the surface.

(That was a very good roll xD Last one for this part of the skill check....... Roll a dexterity save for me)

Something bumps your leg, grazing it. You see something behind you, moving to turn around and come back toward your direction.

A large shark.

Atriox tosses the kid to the surface as best he can hoping someone will get him while Atriox distracts the shark

The shark lunges at you, a mouth of serrated teeth opening as it hopes to bite your arm and drag you under. (17 against AC)

Atriox rolls under the shark as it attacks and stabs his claws upward. As the giant fish swims away it just makes Atrioxs claws rip down its belly

(8 slashing damage probably bleeding to )

It punctures the shark's skin and into the layer of fat below, leaving a bleeding trail behind it as it rushes to get away from you. It swims quickly, not keen on fighting you any further. The blood is attractive though...

Turning, you see two more sharks headed your way. The ship is also about ten feet from you, the last of the people making it aboard. Hot lights flash in the distance as magma rock hits the water with sizzling heat.

Atriox sees the two approaching sharks swimming at him and panics a bit. The water is already not good for him and he's running out of time and options. He gets a crazy idea and decides to damn it all to hell

He opens his maw and releases a torrent of lightning at the sharks

The lightning sizzles around the water and you feel it more than see it. It skips across your skin, dancing off of it like a shockwave. The sharks slam right into it and are instantly electrocuted, unable to swim properly or attack. It stuns them, their bodies starting to sink in the water, practically suffocating.

Atriox reels from the pain and electricity coursing through his body but through sheer will manages to move his body enough to swim to the surface

You break the surface of the water with a splash and a hand grabs a hold of your arm. Looking up, you see the smiling face of Randal. "Mighty fine job ya did, mate! Wasn't expectin' the help but you are quite the fighter! Thanks to you all them people was saved!"

He hefts you up to the ladder and climbs up behind you. Reaching the top, dozens of people surround you, grateful. The little boy shivers in a blanket, but wide eyed, rushes up to give you a hug.

You don't see Kora anywhere on deck, or the captain for that matter. It seems... strange. But then you see movement in the captain's room; there's enough commotion that no one else has really noticed. Several pirates are trying to flag down one of the other vessels, a friendly flag up the mast.

Atriox hugs the boy back hurriedly and quickly goes over to the captains cabin. He's concerned with the disappearance of Kora and Sheila

He trys to quietly peek in to see whats going on
(17 stealth)

"--CK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" You hear the tail end of Dorokor growling as you poke your head in.

You see the orc woman holding Sheila up against the wall by the shirt collar, her eyes blazing hot. Sheila is already disarmed, her sword and pistol on the table nearby.

"I didn't make the crazy bastard jump in!! You nuts?!" The captain hisses through her teeth, trying to save her breath.

"You BEST not expect us to be helping you with shit like this!" Kora leans in close, her fangs growing and causing Sheila to squirm uncomfortably.

"Course not!! Never, you are guests! Ain't a problem! I got me own crew, anything you do is on you!"

Atriox quickly enters the room and talks in calming tones

"Kora please set the captain down. I'm fine ! Just relax...."
(Persuasion 15)

Dorokor's head whips around, her glare palpable across the distance of the cabin. She's utterly pissed, but you can tell she's taking a moment to breathe and collect her thoughts... rather than crush Sheila's neck and take her ship, or come over to punch you.

The captain drops roughly to the floor as Kora lets go, coughing and scrambling away. She's got her eyes on her weapons but knows better than to try to make a move against this obviously vampiric orc woman. There was no hiding that fact.

Kora stalks away, her boots thumping hard against the wooden floor. She makes for the door, pushing past you as if to head back to the room. There's an ire in her eyes as she looks at the crowd of waterlogged survivors, like a wolf looking at cattle. It's cold.

Atriox rolls his eyes and watches Kora go before looking back at Sheila

He goes over to offer her a hand

"I am deeply sorry about that Captain. I suppose she's not used to feeling worried......as i suspect that's what happened....for somebody other than herself. How can I make this right ? I'm willing to up your pay of course. Is there anything else ?"

Sheila looks rather disheveled, trying to get her bearings back. She holsters her weapons and sits down rather roughly, as if standing was a bit too much work. The whole time she doesn't talk, but seems to be thinking about a bit too much at once.

"N-no, that's quite alright. Ye helped enough with those people, which--" she gives Atriox a strange look. "I hope you didn't feel I expected you to intervene with, ye are a guest here aboard the Annabel. I ain't ever asked a passenger not of me own crew to risk their hide. Didn't expect it, really... I didn't mean offense earlier, by the way. You are crazy perhaps, but in a sense of duty I suppose. A higher purpose. Better than a pirate." She smirks a little.

The captain straightens her collar a bit and fixes her hat as well. "I, uh... I suppose I'd rather not word of this get around to the others. They respect me well enough, but there's a few... particulars that worry me. A vampire aboard isn't quite... the norm." Sheila tries to pick her words carefully. "If she is one of your soldiers though, it might be good to speak with her."

Atriox gives the captain a equally amused and measured look

"Oh I will captain have no fears but if you look at Dorokor Bonebreaker and see just another soldier....you might want to have your vision looked at. She's so much more. "

He walks torwards the door but turns around

"Aye I agree not a word of this should leave this cabin but I insist on the raise. And another thing Sheila.....I honestly don't give a damn about what you do or dont expect of me. I did what I did because it was right. That's all. Goodday."

Atriox walks out with a nod and heads torwards His snd Koras room suspecting he'll find her there

You open the door and spot Dorokor in the corner, sitting on a chair and sharpening a knife in her hand. There's a second of the pair on the desk beside her. She has a leg crossed over the other, very meticulously testing the metal before running a stone over it again.

Without looking up from her work she comments, "You're injured."

Atriox grunts

"Yes I suppose I am. Your angry. What's the next obvious thing you'd like to point out ehh ?"

He has a smirk on his face

The corner of her mouth twitches, slightly humored but still pissed. She finally glances up from her sharpening.

"That was stupid. You have priorities here with your men, MY men, your little lizardlings. Don't need you risking your neck this early in the trip. Haven't even gotten out of the bay yet..." She trails off, irritated, striking the knife again with the sharpening stone. "Why bother helping them like that? Pointless..." She mumbles to herself.

Atriox grunts and rolls his eyes at hr

"Says who you stubborn orc. Hmmm ? But I'm not going to debate that with you right now. That can come later. How about you tell me why this made you so upset?"

(Persuasion 16)

She snorts, turning her attention back to her work. In a moody voice she says, "I don't know why. It was stupid. Stupid things make me upset. That a good enough answer?"

Kora slices the blade one more time, tests it, then with a "shink" noise slips it into a sheath in one of her boots. She picks up the other knife and begins the same process.

Atriox growls in a teasing way

"You know damn well it's not.......what are you holding back Kora."

She stops again, glaring up at Atriox. There's a long pause. A warmer look.

"Holding back... Punching that captain in her pretty nose? That's called restraint."

Kora sneers slightly at her joke, slapping the knife on the table. She stands and approaches Atriox in two strides, grabs his arm and swings him around roughly into the chair.

She kneels down, running a hand along your calf. It stings and you notice you have a large cut running down one side; a fine slash mark from the jaws of the first shark.

"I hate sharks... Always have. Filthy rats of the sea."

She licks the salted wound, cleaning it. With a red, vampiric glow it stims the bleeding.

Atriox grunts again

"Yes well. They're just doing what is instinct for them. Feed. I would have thought if anyone could understand that it would be you."

Atriox chuckles at himself before looking back at her

She glares and rolls her eyes. "Yeah yeah... Once. Til I fed on them on the way to Baralona..."

Kora sits, her back to the bed frame. "Nasty taste. And they hunt anything... Their own kind, young, sick, old. Instinct is a cruel master."

Atriox strokes his chin

"Indeed.......forgive my comment. You are better than them Bonebreaker. I apologize for comparing you to them."

He gently grabs some of her hair playfully

She stares up at him for a moment before turning away. "Nothing to apologize for... In a way I am."

"So... Why care about what happened to those people? Why almost kill yourself for strangers?" Kora leans against your hand. Her question doesn't sound accusatory any longer.

Atriox grabs her chin

"No.....your not. I completely regret my words Kora."

He moves his hand to her cheek affectionately

"Beyond because it was the right thing to do ? Well there are long term advantages to look at as well. Let me put it to you this way from one leader to another. You're a orc cheiftes. When you win major victories or do something amazing your kind will hear about it. They might wish to join your clan because of your actions. Well as a leader I can only hope that some of those people I just helped will learn my name, tell praises of me, maybe come to Skyhold someday and help in some way or another. You see ? And if they don't then eh I feel good about what I did. Does that make sense?"

Dorokor has a torn look in her eyes. "Yeah... I see your point."

She puts her hand on his, giving it an affectionate squeeze. Her eyes glow a bit.

"I don't know why..." She hesitates. "I'm hungry again."

Atriox looks at her curiously

"Already ? After the other night I wouldn't think that to be possible."

Dorokor shrugs. "Maybe I spent more energy afterwards than I thought..." She gives Atriox a mischievous, sultry smile.

"But it's fine. I'll just deal with it... Not the first time I've had to."

Atriox thinks about it

" mmmm perhaps we should get you fed. Even if it's just a little. But from who.......got any preferences?:

She leans forward and nibbles at his white, scaly arm. "Aside from you?"

Kora chuckles. "No preference, really... Just not shark."

Atriox nods his head with a small smile. He gets up carefully and helps her up as well

"Very well you stay here. Avoid hurting anyone please while I go get you blood. I'll be right back."

He gives her rump a smack and walks torwards the door

Dorokor grumbles goodnaturedly. "Fine, fine." She waves her hand at him in a dismissive manner and grabs her other knife, sheathing it as you exit the room.

Atriox makes to find Oxious wherever he is.

You head upstairs where you last saw Oxious and see him reclining against a mast. He spots you coming toward him and nods with his head a little, a silken pink handkerchief over his mouth and nose.

Atriox finishes the distance and smiles at Oxious

"Enjoying the sea breeze are you ?"

"Better than a barf bag, yes." He sniffs, eyeing you from the side.

"Beautiful view though. Destructive. Powerful. Fascinating to see." He looks back over the water at the bright orange lava coursing over the islands. "Was discussing it with Bareus earlier... he said the last one was perhaps 15 years ago, and the one before that, 32. A lot of lore about the area, but always a sight."

"But aside from that," he chuckles. "What's eating you? Aside from the sea life?"

Atriox rolls his eyes

"Ha ha ha very funny you old goat. So I have something I need to ask you something my freind.........about my rare blood condition.....if you catch my drift ?"

Atriox raises his brow

"Would you like to discuss it here or elsewhere?"

The tiefling raises an eyebrow, rubbing his jaw with his hand. "I'd rather not anywhere...... but I suppose it can't be helped. My room."

He stands upright and sways a little on his feet, grumbling. Walking down into the hold he continues to descend. You pass several dozen sailors going about their business, relaxing or gambling at tables in the mess hall. A delicious smell wafts in from the kitchen--at least what would normally be one. Your tastebuds sour at real food now, and Oxious looks a little greener.

"Hard to be sea sick and have a room right next to the kitchen, I'll tell you..." He continues to grumble, waving at Dahlia with a forced smile. She sits in the dining area with several notebooks and pens, going over business details with a fine-toothed comb.

The room he shares with her is quaint, similar to your room upstairs. There's a single bed, a desk, a chair, and several large bags stacked in the corner with various items he brought from home. It does have a very... Oxious' feel here, with nicer sheets and little odd trinkets on the table.

"He lays down on the bed, tugging off his bandanna and covering his eyes. "Alright, what questions you have for me? Something not answered in that book I so kindly gave you?"

Atriox grumbles

"Your always such an ass about anything to do with vampires. You know I can't help this Oxious so why are you such a jerk about it ?"

Atriox grunts some steem out his nostrils

"And I doubt it. Me and Kora have had enough blood to fill us for a week at least just the other night. Each. And yet she can't stop craving. Now she's not going all killer but I dont like it.......is that in your damn book hmm ?"

Atriox gives him a pointed look

He waves his free hand nonchalantly, as if the matter doesn't bother him that much. "I'm surprised you don't. Cravings don't ever stop, idiot. Even when sated... The beast is just less needy. What, is she being more needy now?"

He grunts, shifting his weight. "And I'm always a jerk... you know that. It's the billy goat ass talking."

Atriox eyes glow slightly as he is not amused and being very seriously

"I might be new to this but I'm pretty sure I know more about how the hunger feels at the very least Oxious ! And Kora is older and well practiced. When she says this is odd i damn well believe her."

Atriox paces around a little bit

"We killed and drained three bandits each Oxious. It was a feast. And I'm telling you we haven't used our powers. Were stuck on this boat Ios sake ! And I feel no hunger. No compulsion."

Oxious raises his arm off his face, staring at you for a moment. "Damn, you went to town... I don't know, hunger only really increases when vampires are exerting a lot of energy. More than normal. Maybe...?"

He rolls his eyes and simulates some gyrating motions with his hips. There's a smirk on his face. "You guys ain't ever been quiet about that. Had to put a silencing spell on our room to stop all the noise from earlier..."

Sitting up he shakes his head, trying to keep it from spinning. "Joking aside... It is odd for her to want more sustenance so soon. That's not in the book, really. What was your plan for the next... what, three months?"

Atriox shrugs thinking distantly

"I've thought somewhat about it. There Dahlia who's willing but I feel guilty, you who would need something out of it of course, the diplomat who owes me and Kora her life, then the nyhad who I don't wish to insult......."

As Atriox paces around he thinks through everything Oxious said

"HEY ! I'll have you know I've not moved my hips in any such way since we've boarded this ship ! That was Et and Ore !"

Atriox mimics Oxious little hip thrusts exaggerativly while standing and making silly faces before stopping and making a gesture with his hand

Oxious looks skeptical. "Hmmm.... really now?" There's note to his voice like he doesn't quite believe you. "Now now, Atriox, you don't have to be ashamed, I was quite the noisy one too in my youth... you should really just embrace who you are, it makes things quite a bit easier."

"Also," He rolls his eyes. "Rude. Why do you assume I need something? Who says I would even do that period?" He folds his arms.

Atriox snorts in both laughter and mock annoyance while rolling his eyes

"Coy is not an attractive look on you Oxious."

Oxious mocks you, repeating back what you say and returning the same rude gesture with his hand.

"Have you actually talked with anyone yet? Asked anyone? Why not check with this overly energetic and obvious scapegoat called your team mates?" The tiefling points upward, gesturing toward Ore and Etny's room and still teasing you about calling them out.

Atrioxs eyes flash again and he gets a aghast face

"Absolutely not. No way. You've completely lost your damn mind."

He opens his arms wide. "Welcome to the real world, my princeling. You actually have to ask people for things like that, not just expect--" His eyes narrow and he drops his arms.

"Wait. Damn it, is that why you really came to see me? Is this your cutesy way of asking me to do it?"

Atriox looks bashful

"Well.......I don't wish to be rude. It was kinda out of nowhere. I didn't think I would have to worry for a few more days yet. And I also came to you because you're wise Oxious. Every one knows that."

"Pftttt..." Oxious snorts loudly, perhaps just slightly flattered as much as he tries to hide it. He seems unsure how to respond to that at first. "...Ass kisser."

He flops back on the bed, rubbing his temples with one hand. "Ughhh... not how I thought I'd start out this trip." His thick sarcasm drops into a funny airy voice, "How fun this will be, yaaay!"

"Well I'd rather me over Dahlia..." He sighs deeply. "Or any other girls you happen to catch up in your little charming net." Swinging his legs over the edge of the bed, he walks to the desk and pulls out a few items as he talks. A funnel, a dark-colored bottle, a small pot of an unknown powder and a thin, obsidian knife.

"I never tend to do this in front of--well, you know." He waves his hand and, although you can't see exactly what he's doing, the sanguine aroma is almost instant in your nostrils. It makes your pupils dilate and your mouth water, despite being as fed as you are. There's something spicy about his blood, strangely enough.

"What a saintly favor for a true friend, yes I'm sure I'll be welcomed into the halls of Celestia for this upon my demise..." Over his casual snarkiness you can hear the draining of the blood into the jar. It rings in your ears and is quite a strange sensation. "Oh by the way, I hope it goes without saying... you try anything I'll shoot you. Just hope we're clear. Dahlia wouldn't but me? Pft."

With a flourish he caps the bottle and turns, sucking the wound on his own arm--now dissolving into no more than a faded cut. The smell in the room is stemmed and he puts the bottle into your hand.

"I'm damn well sure going to have you find me a lot more items after this..." He sits, looking a little pale and green again. "Don't say I don't do you any favors. Come back when you need another, I'll just get it ready beforehand."

Atriox growls at the threat and walks out with the blood not looking back. He has expended all his energy torwards niceties today already

He makes his way back to Dorokor

Before the door closes, you hear one last comment from Oxious. It is a little more sincere than before; just a fraction, but you can tell the tone in his voice is different.

"Atriox? Keep me updated on how the two of you are handling things. If anything else changes."

The door closes. It seems an odd comment from him after his infuriating sass, but you continue on your way. Dahlia smiles at you as you pass, sensing the tension from the room. She doesn't bother pushing any further.

As you make your way back upstairs and enter your own room again, you see Kora with pieces of her armor on the table now, polishing the plates meticulously. In a way it makes sense--the knives, the armor--she does definitely take care of the few possessions she has. She brought hardly anything with her on the ship. But she does seem a little stir crazy or preoccupied.

"Have fun hunting?" She asks, giving him a playful glance.

Atriox grunts

"Not overly. There was no hunting to be done. I went to Oxious for help. I also informed him how it's odd that your craving after we fed so well. He's asked that we keep him updated is all. He's a good man.......irritating but good. A freind. Anyway here you go. I hope this helps."

He hands her the blood

She takes the bottle, popping the cork and smelling the blood inside. It almost smokes slightly. She wrinkles her nose and laughs. "Tiefling blood... always a unique taste."

With a small swig she relaxes, as if even just a little is helping her feel better. "Kind of you to fetch some. Not everyone is a willing... donor." She raises an eyebrow. "I wonder how he came to know so much about our kind without being one himself. Strange."

Atriox hesitates but looks at her

"Not that it's public knowledge but he was.....acquaintances with one in Dragonshore. There was one of our kind there the whole time. They had a deal of sorts. Other than that Oxious also has a passion for oddities and dark magic items."

He trys to relax some and points to the blood with a small smile

"I'm glad it helped."

"I see..." She smirks. "Secrets are interesting things."

Kora takes another sip. "I'll have to keep that in mind about this friend of yours. He seems rather trustworthy, considering. Not a lot of people have the patience for... well, us."

The orc looks at the table, lost in thought. "You are quite the fledgling in this world. It is... hard. Living so long. You had acquaintances before you turned, those who still trust you and follow you as friends. They haven't aged and died around you. It's... a process."

Atriox gives her a look

"We'll thanks for setting the mood Bonebreaker. It really just tops everything off. And let me remind you your sleeping with this fledgling so watch it"

He playfully glares and squints his eyes at her

She rolls her eyes. "I'm just being honest." Draining the rest of the bottle, she sets it on the table. "It's important to remember. And you're lucky to have who you do surrounding you."

Standing she walks over to him, wrapping her arms around him and grabbing one of his horns playfully. "And you think I forget about that last part? Fledgling?" Dorokor smirks, her one fang more apparent. "Where'd you put that good luck charm, anyway? You still have it?"

Atrioxs eyes widen and he panics. He was very drunk on blood when she gave it to him but it's coming back to him now

He pats himself down but cant find it

"What's thiiiis...?" She croons, mockingly offended. "Did you already misplace it?"

Kora tugs his horn again, teasing him. "It would be very ironic indeed if that shark ate it."

Atriox seems all grumpy and just mutters about how it's not funny

"Come now, I'm not angry. Too much." She can't help but smirk. "I know how you can make it up to me." She reaches around and locks the door behind them, a mischievous look in her eyes.
